Not only before any spiritual warfare is done but EVERY DAY you should put on the Full Armor of God!

PRAY OUT LOUD:

 

Abba, Father, thank you for providing all I need to be VICTORIOUS over the Enemy. You have commanded that we put on the full Armor of God, which requires me to choose to do so. Therefore, I am putting on your full Armor so I am able to stand against the wiles of the devil [Ephesians 6:11].

 

I put on the Belt of Truth—the TRUTH of Your Word—which confirms my freedom through Christ [John 8:32] and gives me the ability to discern good from evil and truth from error [1 John 4:6].

 

I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness, which covers my heart with Your righteousness and calls me to be Holy as you are Holy. You have called me out of the world and set me apart to serve you [1 Peter 1:16, 2:9-10; Revelation 18:2-5, Proverbs 8:20, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Psalm 23:3].

 

I put on the Gospel of Peace, making me ready to share the saving message of Your Son, Jesus, wherever I go. I choose to walk in the peace of your Holy Spirit and not be overcome with fear and anxious thoughts [Isaiah 32:14-18; 63:14, Acts 9:31, Philippians 1:19, Haggai 2:5; John 16:5-21; John 20:21-22].

 

I take up the Shield of Faith which extinguishes all the darts and threats hurled my way by the Enemy [Ephesians 6:16]. I believe in Your power to overcome evil [John 16:33], as well as your ability to protect me [Psalm 34:17-19, Proverbs 29:25, Nahum 1:7]. Father, I trust in You.

 

I put on the Helmet of Salvation, which imbues me with the Power of God and protects the Battlefield of my mind from thoughts strategically placed in my mind by the Enemy and from all his false accusations [Revelation 12:10, Romans 8:2; 1 Corinthians 1:18, 2 Corinthians 10:5]. Thank you, Father, for reminding me that I am Your Child, forgiven, set free, saved by Your grace through my faith in Yeshua/Jesus.

 

I take up the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, your weapon which is both defensive and offensive; lasts forever; provides guidance, wisdom, knowledge; has power to demolish strongholds, is alive, active, and sharper than any double-edged sword, and the ability to render Satan POWER-LESS and DEFENSE-LESS [Matthew 4:1-11; Psalm 119:105; Isaiah 40:8; Proverbs 2:6].

 

Father, knowing that our Battle is not against flesh and blood (people), but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places [Ephesians 6:12]; I pray you will remind me how important it is to put on the Full Armor of God EVERY DAY.

 

Forgive me for the times I’ve been unprepared and depended on my own strength and ways which always led to defeat.

 

Thank you, Father, that I am never alone on the Battlefield, for you are constantly at work on my behalf, shielding, protecting, strengthening, exposing deeds of darkness, bringing to light what needs to be known. In the powerful name of Yeshua/Jesus of Nazareth I pray, Amen.
